This course engages with important contemporary theoretical perspectives on law and society and will assess what these different theoretical perspectives offer to a critical analysis of contemporary socio-legal issues. Among the different approaches that may be considered are those that challenge Law’s ideal image of itself as objective, impartial, and just. Prerequisites: Registration status: Year 3 or Year 4 Law & Society.
